Natural Hoof Care

Audrey trimming a client's horse Jerry trimming a client's horse

The horses at Freedom Farm live as naturally as possible: in a herd, unblanketed and barefoot. Audrey and Jerry, both pictured above, trim them as needed, and also manage to maintain a large outside clientelle in the Pacific Northwest. They have helped hundreds of horses, even rehabilitating many with the most difficult of hoof problems.

Both Jerry and Audrey are instructors and mentors for Equine Soundness, which provides holistic barefoot trim education for horse owners and professionals. Practicums for the classes are sometimes held here at the farm.
